Some Fun with your astrological signs!!

Now that we've understood about our Sun/Star sign, Moon sign, and Rising/Ascending sign, we can have a bit of a game with it if you're interested (look to the two previous posts if you've walked in on this cold lol)

Rising/Ascending Signs?

Your Rising Sign (or Ascending Sign) tells you about how others perceive you, when they dont know you all that well. When you are born, somewhere it is dawn (how i'm understanding the jargon i've been reading up on, by all means set me straight if i'm wrong :) ) and what the sign the sun is shining through, dictates your Rising Sign :) .... easy peasy.... for the most most.

You may find yourself running into a few walls, or confusions as you're finding this out. Some calculators will give you your Moon Sign instead of your Rising Sign. As i suggested in the previous post, i believe the way to go is through the majory, or until something clicks.

As a template, i've been reading that your Sun Sign, Moon Sign, and Rising Sign are the three most important signs in understanding ourselves, and i beleive it goes like this...
Sun Sign :- Your inbound Traits, What you arent likely to stray from (unless its a negative aspect and you are working on not being ruled by it :) )
Moon Sign : How you see yourself, or your True Self (find out yours and you'll see why i put it that way)
Rising Sign - How others see you (mainly when they dont know you very well)

After finding out your sign, start pulling up pages about it (regular star/sun sign pages will do, it all relates) I find that every site will give you different insight, some will just repeat what others have said, and others will repeat what others have said but will have a few juicy tidbits that wasnt present in the previous tries... so... enjoy.... and remember to research, is to Re - Search... again and again :)

Moon Signs?

WELL. We all know what our Star Sign (Sun Sign, in the grander scheme of things) is, unless you are born on the cusp :)  But do you know what your Moon sign is? Most of us can get the information for the time we were born at (or have a guess if you are going from vague memories, but accuracy is better) and there are many calculators out there on the net that will generate your moon sign for you.

I had no idea what a Moon Sign was, let alone know how important one is for understanding ourselves better (Should you dwell on issues like this)

I fit my Star Sign Taurus very very well, i'm cheap, loyal, and bullheaded lol. But that doesnt describe my personality, my personal personality. My moon sign does. Your moon sign does. 

On any level, if you arent into the esoterical (and that's okay) its very enlightening to find out, especially as many websites offer common problems you may run into, and a solution to them. If you are into the esoterical, and maybe even different forms of magick, i have it on authority that its with our Moon Sign's traits that we cultivate our 'Magickal Personality' wearing the colours for empowerment etc. Whatever you fancy ;)

One word of warning i will give in advance, is that not all sites will give you the same answer :-/ ... some will give you a "free" moon reading, as a taster to your full Birth Chart (that you have to pay for) ... watch your url bar because i've been on a few just looking around and found the certificates are bogus. Scammers. I found on one of these sites that i put my information in twice and whilst the information didnt differ, my answers did.... so double check these things before you go getting excited, and try maybe four or five sites and go with the majority or your gut instincts should you have any on the subject.

Now one section i'm finding rather tricky, is moving onto Rising Signs (i'm very new at this milarky) and some of the sites that consistantly gave me the "right" answers for my moon sign, are giving my Moon Sign for my Rising Sign... If every calculator is different, chances are so will be the people you ask to make up your charts for a fee... so be cautiscous and take it all with a pinch of salt :)
